1st annual Hava-Burn-Till-U-Learn Enduro
and TWMC Christmas Party!

The incredible photo above captures this incredible weekend, better than words can ever do!

This year's event was held at the Mud Pots, near Red Mountain. Michael and Jeff Schulte were the main Trail Bosses of the event. Terri Nelson and Meagan Markley hosted the Kid's Crafts. Annie Crawshaw and company put on the Christmas Tree Decorating Party, Santa's Visit, and TWMC Christmas Party. Daniel Markley and Jeff Nelson hosted the Junior / Powder Puff / Beginner events Saturday afternoon. Thomas Moore hosted the GPS Poker Run.

Annie stated that there were 120+ folks that participated in the pot luck dinner and festivities to follow. The weather was perfect, can't remember when we had a wind-free Christmas Party in recent years.

The below rider photos were taken by Mama Nelson, enjoy...

Thom and Ian McNabb at the Junior event.
Check out the expression on Ian's face, it's just screaming, "I wanna ride!"

Trevor Nelson (of the Nelson Racing Team) on his way to 1st Beginner.
Taking a quick moment for a photo-op with Mom during the Beginner event.

Another Beginner having too much fun!

Rick Oldham navigates the motocross section on his way to 1st Expert

Sean Moore slides around the burm on his new KX250F

Marlee McInnis on her way to 1st Novice X

There was one Hard / Easy Way Split on the loop. It had one
uphill that gave a few folks a little extra challenge ;-o

Rob Wranosky (aka Mike Wazowksi) made the hill and the time
keeping look easy on his way to 1st Masters. He carded an amazing 17 seconds for the day!

Thom McNabb (our Prez) on the gas and on his way to 2nd Masters.
Thom and Rob were the only two riders to zero the entire event.

Dick Cressy makes his way down the same dropoff that caused him some bruised
ribs a few years ago at the Keg Run Enduro. No problem at the Hava-Burn-Till-U-Learn Enduro.
Dick went on to capture 1st Super Senior and the year-end title as well.

ISDE veteran Steve Morefield showed everyone how it's done, impressing even Papa Smurf!
Steve had a great ride to end up 3rd Masters for the day.

The name of this event was fitting. It had folks that normally never burn, burning checks.
Thomas Moore fell victim to three burns throughout the event. He made up for it in the
Expert / Masters special test, a by-stander stated that "Thomas made the final hill look
easy, most the other riders looked like they were riding on the edge."

One last great photo of camp from atop the hill, taken by Chris Whiting.

Another great outing for a truly great club, thanks again to everyone!
Merry Christmas from everyone in TWMC!
